Sunset Cruises Muskoka 2013 Review

Recap on our 2013 Season

Sunset Cruises was excited to have the first cruise into Bala Bay with Peerless II on Sunday, July 14th/2013, with a great response from all the cottagers along the route.  There were lots of waves and horn blasts to welcome  the Peerless II  back on to Bala Bay, the first of many more trips to come to Bala.

Sunset Cruises was happy to celebrate Peerless II 67th Birthday with special 1 hour cruises on Saturday, July 20th/2013.  There was cake for all that joined our Birthday cruises.  This will be an annual event for all to enjoy.

Peerless II was part of one Family's 125th Anniversary celebration on one of the islands this summer.  There were several generations at this Family celebration and staff was able to have a tour of the historic property.  This family has enjoyed the same point of Tobin Island for 125 years!!

Idyllwood was part of a special bachelorette cruise over the summer.  One pre-wedding cruise for the bride and her bridesmaids who really enjoyed dressing up and having some great fun with a cruise on Lake Joseph.

Over the 2013 Season both Peerless II & Idyllwood had many special events.  We were able to accommodate pick ups at public docks, resort docks, and many private docks with our two Muskoka Cruisers.  Many Anniversary, Birthday & Wedding Cruises. Our passengers enjoyed being able to customize their special day with our smaller more intimate boats.

Sunset Cruises has joined the Friends of Muskoka Watershed in 2013 and look forward to working with the Muskoka Watershed Council.  We had a Fund Raising Cruise in September for Hospice Muskoka with great success.  We are planning to have this an annual event for Hospice Muskoka and look forward to working with this committee to plan for next years cruise event.

Sunset Cruises finishes each year with an end of season dinner.  Allowing our staff to enjoy reminiscing over our season, and share all their stories and adventures.
